Description
On the south side of 42nd Street, approaching Eighth Avenue, a large cube sits perched on one of its edges on top of a building. The lit faces of the cube serve as a constantly changing venue. I imagine it's for advertising purposes, but I only saw solid colors and then abstract designs from time to time. I captured a variety of variations and added a colored border to match one of the colors in the display. Some of these images are available as single images and others are in combinations I assembled.

Both disorienting and fascinating, Sarah. This is a pod choice for me today in the Best of Minimalism group.

Sorta stands out. Great shot.

Hard to miss. I figured that thing had probably been photographed to death, but I couldn't find any on a google search of images of 42nd Street. Maybe it's new, but I'm sure I've seen it before.
