Description
Alcantarilla is a town near Murcia in Spain. While Murcia (capital of the region) originated as a medieval Moorish city, Alcantarilla, which is now a sort of suburb of Murcia, goes back to Roman times and beyond. My parents lived in Alcantarilla for many years and my children and I spent numerous summers there. I photographed this door on a narrow street a few blocks from my mother's house.
