Description
Per Wikipedia: The Schiersteiner Port is situated along the Rhine (km 506.0) in Schierstein. The Port is largely used as a marina today. Constructed in 1858, the port has a length of 1250 meters and has become a water sports center with a 1250 meter-long regatta course. On its northern shore is the port promenade, which because of its Mediterranean flair, has become known as the "Schiersteiner Riviera".

I meant, it's a statement FOR unconventionality.
Sarah Loft replied:
Definitely quirky. I still find the balance unsettling. Must be my conventional soul. :)

No, I think it's complete quirkiness is what's so attractive about it. It's a statement against unconventionality.

I didn't like this so much at first, but it's optional abstract nature has grown on me. It's really quite nice.
Sarah Loft replied:
Thanks, Ross. I'm still not sure I like this one myself. The heaviness at the top is unsettling for some reason. Maybe a balance problem. I like the idea though. What I need is dark water and a lighter colored boat. I should check out how a "negative" version of this might look.
