Description
I started this digital project with an image of a vase that I photographed. This image bears no resemblance to the starting material and is not even the same color. What I was aiming for here was an abstract re-creation of my happy memories of living across the road from the sea in Puerto Rico. I could hear the waves at night and loved the changing colors of the water with the times of day and the weather. I was particularly taken with the green-blue hues that looked like an endless liquid gemstone.
