This colorful stylized icon of the Virgin Mary and Jesus was produced entirely on the computer. It mimics the style of traditional Greek and Russian icons.
The title, "Theotokos", is a word of Greek origin meaning "God-bearer" which was adopted early on by the church as a re-affirmation of the belief in the divinity of Jesus.
