Description
‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination’ is an exhibit staged at the Metropolitan Museum and at the Cloisters Museum (May through October 2018). The show is a co-production between the Vatican and the Metropolitan Museum and examines how fashion designers have been influenced by Catholic aesthetics. My "take" on the exhibit is a series of photos that are a bit quirky and include, in some cases, reflections, odd angles and abstraction. I noticed that nearly all the fashions were for women and every mannequin had closed eyes-- praying, meditating, sleeping or dead-- who knows? It really is an interesting show.

Sarah Loft replied:
Thank you, Kathy! Not sure about my technique. I like to mess with my pics using photoscape.

Sarah, these are wonderful. Love to go see this show. My daughter is in the city, so at least I'll send her. Super color palette and great atmosphere.
